After a months-long bidding process and many layoffs, Yahoo has finally found a buyer. Verizon (which owns AOL, which owns TechCrunch) is officially acquiring Yahoo’s core business for $4.83 billion in cash, which includes Yahoo’s advertising, content, search and mobile activities.
Website management platform Pantheon announced a $29 million Series C funding round on Wednesday, saying it will use the funds to fuel expansion towards a goal of powering 30 percent of the web.
Amazon AWS has introduced it’s first ever datacenter infrastructure in India in the Mumbai Region. Amazon aims to expand it’s AWS footprint with the introduction of the new Datacenter. AWS customers in the area can use the new Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region to better serve end users in India.
